Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport Achieved Main Prime Service Awards from the Ministry of Transportation

BALIKPAPAN (19/9) - The Ministry of Transportation awarded Main Prime Service to Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan Airports. Pujiono as the General Manager Branch of the Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman (SAMS) Sepinggan International Airport - Balikpapan directly received the award given by the Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, in the Office of the Ministry of Transportation.

Excellent service assessment held every two years since 2003 was followed by 156 public service units of transport sector. Award consists of three categories, the award recipient in the Main Prime category as many as 40 units, Middle Prime category as many as 54 units, and Primary Prime category as many as 23 units.

Excellent Service Award 2016 based on the results of the assessment conducted by the assessment team for three months, starting in June-August 2016. There were nine criteria for the assessment, the vision and mission and motto of service, service standards and edicts services, system procedures mechanisms, human resources, facilities and infrastructure services, complaint handling, community satisfaction surveys, public information service system, and productivities in achieving service targets.

Pujiono revealed “this was the second year for Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman (SAMS) Sepinggan International Airport- Balikpapan awarded the Main Prime Service, we will continue to improve services. The important is all of the airport service users of SAMS Sepinggan Airport - Balikpapan feel happy during in the SAMS Sepinggan Airport - Balikpapan begin from the toll gate into inside of the terminal.”

Subsequently, on the same occasion, Sulkan as the CO-GM also said "By looking at 2% of the passenger growth trend of the Sepinggan SAMS Airport – Balikpapan, the management of PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Branch Office SAMS Sepinggan International Airport has been trying to restore the Airport Mall Concept by placing the anchor tenant and holding several Department Store, in order to realize the Airport Mall concept nicely.
